No changes this week.
Methodology: dingoT uses 6 different inputs ranging from ELO ratings to market values. The weight of inputs change as season progresses to reduce the importance of forward looking metrics such as betting odds in favor of actual achievements.
Top 16 seems to be stabilized with newest entrants from few weeks ago Wolfsburg and Valencia still performing well. Sevilla is at 17 and rising fast so teams no.12-16 should be careful; no slipping. Real has lost some ground but still is in command. Last year Bayern lost the no.1 spot after a dismal March so Ancelotti should be careful. Lazio makes a debut in top 32 this year at no.32.
Bundesliga passed EPL as the 2nd best league. EPL was neck to neck with La Liga when the season started.
Methodology: Using dingoT to rate games on 2 metrics – quality (ie. 1 vs 2 is higher than 8 vs 9) and competitiveness (ie. 16 vs 17 is higher than 1 vs 32) to combine into one rating.
